Jenna Fischer is best known for her role as Pam Beesly on the acclaimed TV show The Office, for which she was awarded the Emmy nomination for the Best Supporting Actress and Two SAG Awards for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble Comedy.
Her family was based within St. Louis Missouri. Jenna's mother Anne used to perform in church plays in her younger years This sparked her passion for theater.
A trained theater actress, Fischer returned to her home base after finishing The Office. She starred in the Off-Broadway show Reasons to be Happy, written and directed by Neil LaBute and co-starring Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb, and Fred Weller. After starring in Steve Martin's new play Meteor Shower (an absurdist comedy co-written by Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg), she was then invited to appear in at the Old Globe Theatre's record-breaking world premiere.
The Office star Angela Kinsey's closest friend from real life and Fischer launched the Office Ladies podcast, on Earwolf on October, the year 2019. The podcast soon became popular. Every week, it was within the Top Ten in global downloads which topped 200 million downloaded in the first couple years. Office Ladies, which was released in the month of October it was nominated for iHeartRadio's Podcast of the Month award for January 2021.
She's written two books: The Actor's Life, a Survival Guide that outlines her path to Hollywood as a working actor and Office BFF's, Tales of The Office From Two Best Friends who were There, a memoir of the best friendships they enjoyed as well as their experience watching The Office.
